The conference is recognised as a leading minerals industry forum for communicating new developments and leading practice in corporate social responsibility. The conference will be officially opened by the Hon Mike Rann MP, Premier of South Australia.
John Strongman, the World Bank's former Mining Advisor, will also address the conference, examining the industry's human rights challenges and the responsibilities of industry and government.
